We are the grateful recipients of some original Navajo jewelry; most vintage and possibly antique. These pieces are quite valuable, not only for their exquisite workmanship, but also because they are limited in quantity and highly sought after.
Here's a vintage ring constructed by Lee Shorty, as are the earrings listed here as well. The ring is very solid, no thin band to dig into your finger, and in excellent condition. On my ring mandrel it is slightly over size 6.5, but slips onto my size 7 finger easily. Perhaps this is due to the elevation of the Navajo Eagle as it doesn't interfere with sizing. Sterling silver with a lovely turquoise inlay.
The workmanship and beauty make this suitable for any person's collection and make the perfect gift for those who appreciate superior craftsmanship and/or a unique place in history.
My price for this is higher than most, but if you run a search for this person's Navajo creations, you will find that it is quite in line, if not less expensive than most.
